![]() Even if it's just the situation (resources, geographical factors and climate, allies, interections with surrounding nations, etc.) that change, it would be good enough. ![]() Is the game different, even just a little bit, with each country (apart from nation size, economy and manpower)? I don't even necessarily mean missions and events, just if they have their own feel to them, if that makes sense. Wikipedia says that Vic has over 200 playable nations. I know that only a handful of countries have unique national trees in HOI, but does that mean that playing other "generic" be samey? Like will playing, say, Morocco be similar to playing Spain? Same question with Crusader Kings II and Victoria II. I'm most interested in HOI IV, but I intend to play Victoria II and Crusader Kings II as well. I'm far from finished playing around with Europa, but I'm already looking forward to trying out the other games. So I'm wondering if this is common with Paradox games in general. ![]() The unique tech trees, missions, decisions and especially the events add to the variety and replayability, but even campaigns with those countires with "generic" versions of those feel varied enough and they have enough flavor to keep it interesting. The gameplay is great, but what really draws me to the game is that you can play several countries, even fairly minor ones, and have a different experience with each one, even if the differences can sometimes be subtle. So I'm fairly new to Paradox games, having recently had EUIV recommended to me which I'm loving so far. Sorry if this question isn't appropriate or is common, but Google isn't really helping me.
